Asphalt shingles run roughly 250 to 400 pounds per roofing square (100 square feet) per layer. A 20-square roof with two layers can approach or exceed 4 tons, so let us know the layer count.

15-yard dumpsters have a weight limit of 3 tons, and 20-yard dumpsters have a weight limit of 4 tons. Heavy materials like concrete, dirt, and roofing shingles can add up quickly. If you're disposing of heavy materials, let us know when booking.

If the dumpster is placed on your property (driveway, yard), no permit is typically required. If placed on a city street or right-of-way, you may need a permit from your local municipality. We can help advise you on local requirements.

We can place the dumpster in your driveway, on the street (if permitted), or anywhere on your property that our truck can safely access. We recommend a flat, hard surface and clear path for delivery. We'll work with you to find the best placement.
